Abstract

Various critics have tried to explain the primary debates of postmodernism in their own way, especially in Urdu. However, there is a difference between them in understanding, explaining, and presenting the thought. This distinction sometimes leads to ambiguity and confusion. This confusion cannot be resolved until the essential context of the postmodern cultural condition is clarified. Therefore, it was necessary to analyze the postmodern cultural condition of Western and Urdu critics through a comprehensive research process.
