Abstract

In the last few decades, the poets who have played an important role in harmonizing the poem with contemporary sensibilities and contemporary themes, Ravish Nadeem is the foremost among them. In the poems written on the collective indifference and selfishness of the society, there is an expression of hateful reaction. His poetry covers social problems, historical awareness and understanding of contemporary issues emerges as a new sensory experience for him. In Ravish Nadeem’s poems, moral degradation, economic instability and the growing coldness of elites and ruling forces are targeted for criticism.
