Nazeer Akbar Aabadi: A Herald of Nature

Abstract

Nazeer Akbar Aabadi is a prominent figure of Urdu poetry. In the history of urdu literature he is famous as a ‘’Public Poet’’but the outstanding quality of his poetry is also naturalism. His poetic imagination is so alluring on the description of nature, the beauty of nature reflected from all  his feelings, words & poetic message. He calls the people towards their real treasure & survival, he unfolds the importance of nature in human life directly and indirectly. His poetry is a beautiful landscape painting where he praises the multi colored clouds tented in the sky , the murmur of water, the beauty of lakes, the chirping of birds ,the mischief of animals, the charm & fragrance of flowers , the sweetness of fruits and specifically he describes magical personality of God’s best creation of nature ‘’the Human’’ .Sometimes he himself  longed to be a refuge in nature’s lap. He used to show his readers the glimpses of the beauty of worldly Charm which sometimes reflects the  immeasurable charm of heavenly vision in purely poetic style. But he was no less than anyone in conveying the original message to humans by becoming the language of nature scenes. He is truly a messenger of nature , this article throws light upon  the various aspects of his natural poetry & feel, which is still alive in the form of endless beauty of Nature in this world as well as in his poetry.
