KALAM-E-SHER AZFAL JAFRI KA PHONOLOGICAL SYSTEM

Abstract

This Research paper deals with the Phonetics study of Sher Afzal Jafri’s Poetry. His Poetical works consist of four volumes. There are found two categories of sounds.i.e. fricatives (صفیریاور مسلسل آوازیں)and retroflex(ہکاری اور معکوسی آوازیں). His poetry is a combination of booth sounds but firstly has a High Percentage. Moreover, long wovels are more pleasing and musical than consonants. His temper and wisdomhas acquaintancewith the sounds and senses. He does not used sounds for decoration but as a medium of meaning.
