The novel "Gender" laments the disappearing civilization

Abstract

The novel under titled “Jandar” of Akhtar Raza Saleemi was published in 2017. It’s a new addition to the fiction in Urdu literature. In this novel, the author highlighted the traditions and cultures of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially of district Hazara. The author is mourning over the culture lag and by the vanishing of positive sanctions and standards in the cultures of these areas. Through this article, the author wants to convey the different aspects and the cultural pattern of these areas to the Urdu readers to preserve and promote it in a better way.
