Abstract

During Akbar Allahabadi's time, Britain had established India as its colony.
English culture and civilization began to spread as a result of British rule, which
began with traders. The influence of colonialism on Indian history is undeniable.
Akbar Allahabadi was one of the first to raise his voice against colonialism, using
satire to critique Western culture in his poetry. He prioritized Eastern values and
traditions over Western ones, and his work reflects a rebirth of Eastern traditions,
culture, and religion. Post-colonial effects are prominent in his poetry.
