Abstract

Alienation is a prominent phenomenon of modern age. Alienation is a state in which human being feels himself isolated and meaningless. In the industrial age man has experiences not only alien to society but also estranged from himself. Fehmida Riaz is a prominent name of modern Urdu poem. She was a progressive and feminist writer, Human rights activists and authored more than 15 books of Poetry and fiction. In our male domination society female faces inattention and worthlessness that caused alienation in her. Fehmida Riaz depicted alienation specially alienation in women, very well in her poems.
